The Duffers celebrated our 65th anniversary on June 1, 2019 at the Hong Kong Club. We had over 150 members and guests attended the gala function. Cocktail started at 6:30pm followed by welcome speech from President Alfred Fung. A brief history of the Duffers fraternity was also delivered by CEO David Lam before the toasting ceremony by the eight officers namely Alfred Fung, Laurence Hou, William Lai, Fong Hup, David Lam, Larry Ko, Walter Tung and William Chan. Dr. Edward Chi was the MC for the evening and he has done an exceptional job, as always.

We also had a photo booth set up where many members queued up to take photos with old and new golfing friends. Goodies bag was given to all participants. Before the end of the evening, we had 30 lucky draw prizes which include Barney Cheng designed 18K gold earring set, iPad pro, iPhone XS, Bentley sunglasses, gold coin, golf yardage binocular, massage gun… to name a few.

Overall it was a most enjoyable evening and photos taken for the evening are now available in our website. Looking forward to seeing all of you again at our 70th anniversary in 2024.
