Every year, the Duffers organize four "Seasonal" Stableford competitions (Spring; Summer; Autumn and Winter) amongst members, in addition to the four golf matches against other golfing fraternities such as the American Club; the Japanese Golfing Society and the Hong Kong Medical Golfers Association (HKMGA).

Traditionally the Duffers matches are mostly held at the Hong Kong Golf Club, since the proximity and the fact that many Duffers are members of the Hong Kong Golf Club. In response to the popular demand from the non-HKGC members, we have resumed the President’s Shield competition starting from 2021.

Lastly, the President Cup is held annually on the last Saturday of September at the Hong Kong Golf Club to be followed by the Annual General Meeting and annual dinner at the Deepwater Bay Chinese Restaurant. Traditionally, the dinner is hosted by the outgoing President and all Duffers and spouse are invited. Prize presentation to the winners for the tournaments during the year will be held at the annual dinner.
